BELARUS FASHION WEEK DAY 4 - BIZARRRE, Hope and Betty, Condra Deluxe, DeVita, Candy Lady, Nelva, Historia Naturalis

The Forum “Fashion is my profession”, which will run until October 29, has gathered both professionals and those who just have started their career in the fashion world – journalists, designers, models and photographers. Interest in the platform is clear: to get practical advice from Georgia Cantarini (Vogue Italiа journalist), ask questions to Nikolai Yartsev (Director of Russian "CPM Exhibition" project), to discuss trends with Anastasia Kotova (Creative Carlin Trend Bureau) – all this is a unique opportunity.

The most anticipated shows of the Fashion Week were held in the afternoon.

Fashion marathon of the fourth day began with the winner of "Follow The Fabrika" contest, the BIZARRRE brand, and the English-Russian duo Hope and Betty. Designer Sonita Filimonova (BIZARRRE) is not afraid of experiments and calls her customers for the same. Transparent crop tops, sexy jumpsuits, ultra-short wrap dresses made of velvet and сape with hood give to the bravest girls the freedom to express themselves. Hope and Betty presented a very seasoned collection, which shows in its forefront fabrics with print. This print, made like an ikat and reminiscent a stylized Uzbek, made the collection colourful despite the monochrome.

Condra Deluxe designed very diverse and extensive collection that during the fashion show was logically divided into blocks. Each unit was a separate story, consisted mostly of dresses. The adjective that is most appropriate for them – feminine. Such a perception was achieved by lace, accentuated waist, floral motifs, pastel colours and delicate decoration. In addition, three guests of the show were lucky enough to win gift certificates for individual dress tailoring by Condra Deluxe in the lottery organized by the brand.

Next on the catwalk were DeVita with their own view on modern fashion. Sport chic is a style which Belarus fashion still lacks but for which there is a high demand. Suits, which in the minds of the older generation are associated with sport trainings only, are the objects of desire for trendy young people., The simplicity of cut designed by DeVita inherent to sport direction in clothes was offset by bright elements, fresh styling, quality fittings and trendy slogans. By the way, "About time" slogan on one of the long sleeves characterizes the entire collection.

The show of Olga Barabanschikova was traditionally held under the motto: "Candy Lady is clothes for happy women" that appeals to a large number of her clients. This time the collection was very geometric and restrained in its colour, which was only a plus, and the dresses from fabric with multicolored pandas became its accent. And when on the catwalk together with the models appeared baby models dressed in a family look, the audience lost its chance to be serious and stern because all began to smile with amazement.

A giant of Belarus industrial fashion thought Nelva, according to the chief designer of the brand Alexander Shitko, presented only a small part of what his team has prepared for the season SS2018. Keeping an intrigue what was left over camera lenses, guests acquainted with collection harmonious by colours and composition. Regardless of where and how admirers of Brest designers will spend time next summer, the latter will offer them relevancy and representative variety. In addition, if previously the Nelva brand followed fashion trends, now it generates them: shopping bags, which appeared as accessories on the runway, caused a real rush among fashionistas.

The evening ended with a truly unique and aesthetic show by Historia Naturalis. "Vioska" is a mix of natural fabrics, exclusive prints and their creative treatment. Designers has showed animalism in their own way: as small figures of goats and ducks. And of course using plant motifs. Accessories used as separate units and were marked by their eccentricity and irony. Many of the items presented in the collection can be easily attributed to art objects.
