BELARUS FASHION WEEK DAY 3 - CASPIAN FASHION WEEK, EMSE, ALENA GORETSKAYA, TON-IN-TON, SVETLANA TODORSKAYA

The 3rd Day of the Fashion Week was a striking one and the excitement around the main fashion event can be easily explained by the schedule included brands, which firmly hold the attention of the audience for many seasons.

The Fashion Show began with the invited guests – Caspian Fashion Week participants. Young Astrakhan designer Marina Gurvich creates clothes that is responsive to the modern life pace. Adelya Kurnosova prefers clothes in family look style. Nevertheless, in her case it is not just mother and daughter’s identical clothes. Every item of her design an adult woman can borrow from her daughter without risking her reputation and looking appropriately at the same time. Lithianian designer Skaistė Bružaitė (S.B.Linija) is well known for her extraordinary accessories made in soutache technique. "50 Shades of Colours with me" – it is concentration of colours, textures and eclectic details.

Family brand LONGSHAW WARD (husband and wife team Kirsty Ward and David Longshaw) exists just since the beginning of 2017 but can already show off its specific stylistic handwriting in clothing and jewelry design. The debut collection consists of monochrome outfits created by David, which became a perfect background to his wife jewellery. If in the clothes urban notes are predominant, the jewellery tend to be ethnics. By combining creative thought, the designers skillfully maneuvre among ultrafashionable trends. Carpice brand shoes complemented models’ outfits. German designer Danny Reinke suggested the freshness of flowers and the lightness of fabrics for this coming summer. «Air» blouses are balanced by a pencil skirt and skinny pants. Combinatorial models give an opportunity to find a practical application of clothing and ensure the commercial success of the entire collection.

It is the second time emse brand shows its collection in the framework of Belarus Fashion Week. Despite the spring-summer season, the brand introduced a Christmas collection of evening group. Gold, black and white colours have long been classics, which traditionally are preferred to use in representative dresses set. Form-fitting silhouettes and delicate decorative elements showed on the catwalk are very feminine and sophisticated.

The collection of premium knitwear by TON-IN-TON brand predictedly was a sold out show. The brevity of lines and the use of "expensive" and gentle colours, the skillfulness of working with viscose, cashmere and silk are the key factors that lead to constant demand for the clothes designed by Olga Novik. The author mixes actual cut of knit pant suits, tops and tunics of graphic prints with skirts and dresses for everyday and weekend outfits.

Three days of Belarus Fashion Week shows were visited by about 6,000 people. A large number of VIPs and journalists among the guests of the Fashion Week highlights a significant role of the professional fashion holiday for the inhabitants of Belarus. Moreover, interactive zones of the partners simply magnify the vivid impressions of fashion show. For example, at the stand of velcom company each guest of the Fashion Week can win a certificate for the clothes purchase or tailoring by Dmitry Zabolotny or Julia Latushkina.
