On Friday, January 20, the creative team of BFW conducted an image photosession for the new season of Belarus Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2012/2013.

The image of the new season was inspired by autumn atmosphere of the English Midlands, with their industrial brick buildings and factories, heather fields and blue-gray forests.

Deep warm colors of the garments by designer Ludmila Tarakanova (TARAKANOVA) reflected the general mood of the upcoming season. Despite the fact that Ludmila is exclusively a menswear designer, the photosession has shown that her clothes perfectly fit for a fragile girl, ideally hitting the latest trends in women's fashion. We have seen the similar voluminous coats and jackets at Stella McCartney’s show, and this is again a direct reference to the English style.

The concept and style of the models were created by Yanina Hancharova, who together with a well-known guru of makeup and hairstyle Alexander Kirinyuk did their best to realize the idea. In cooperation with Olga Kotova – a specialist in felt products – have been developed the accessories for the photoshoot and for the whole new season.

The models looked like modern Englishmen with a touch of aesthetics of the late 20's. The in-depth glance of Nadeszda Timoknina and the undeniably courageous and a bit brutal image of Nikita Koval’ will undoubtedly become the trademark of the upcoming season. It seems that David Herbert Lawrence would not mind writing a story about such heroes!

This time the photographer was an unsurpassed master of fashion-shooting Gennadiy Yashchuk. Thanks to his unusual and extremely professional manner of communication with the models, the result is impeccable! "A grain of narcissism and life-satiety - that's what I want to see in the models at this photosession", - the photographer repeated continuously.

Partly, the very atmosphere of the venue, which hosted the photoshoot - Zнята studio - set the tone for the entire process: brick walls, retro interior design, fashion and intellectual journals, as well as high-class technical facilities.

The video from the photoshoot will soon be posted, and everyone will be able to dive into the creative atmosphere that prevailed at the photosession.

The tone of the new season has already been set, the main characters have been marked, and ahead of us are the brightest and most active days of the preparation for the upcoming Belarus Fashion Week!
